XRF Analysis of Refractory Materials

X-ray fluorescence (XRF) provides a fast and accurate way to analyze refractory materials. It can be carried out directly onsite or on the production line with minimal or no sample preparation.

This method enables rapid determination of key components (SiO₂, Al₂O₃, Fe₂O₃, CaO, MgO, TiO₂, ZrO₂, Cr₂O₃, and others) in raw materials, mixes, and finished products such as bricks, castables, and monolithic linings.

Portable handheld XRF analyzers are especially convenient for quick checks during incoming inspection, batch control, and quality assurance at the plant.
